Longview Nursing Home in Essex, part of Runwood Homes, has become the 1,000th home to implement Person Centred Software’s Mobile Care Monitoring (MCM) system.
The 1,000 care homes across the UK using MCM means 30,000 users are now recording 1.8m care notes every 24 hours.
“Person Centred Software implemented MCM at more than 40 care homes every month on average during 2018,” says Jonathan Papworth, co-founder and director.
He hopes to double the number of homes using MCM by the end of 2019.
Runwood Homes installed Mobile Care Monitoring in August 2018 at two care homes to fully test the system’s capabilities and the implementation process. By January, Person Centred Software had delivered 27 of the group’s homes and the remaining 28 homes should be using the system by the end of June.
Longview Nursing Home was able to use MCM to record a high number of daily care notes per resident within days of receiving training, says its business operations director, Sarah Sanders: “It has streamlined care plans and care evidence records, while allowing us to remain person-centred in our care approach,” she says. “The efficiency of the system means our carers have more time to spend with residents.”
