Abacus shows excellence where it counts with its Gemini 2000 hi-lo bath

Abacus Specialist Bathroom Solutions has won the acclaimed Excellence in Caring Award at The Occupational Therapy Show for its Gemini 2000 hi-lo bath.

The Gemini 2000 is a larger and longer version of the original Gemini bath which is regarded as a proven choice by many occupational therapists. The Gemini is a power assisted bath with variable height and integrated platform so that carers and disabled bathers can benefit from greater safety and comfort.

Carers can support at safe working heights without the need to bend and awkward transfers are eliminated so changing and drying is more dignified for bathers. Manufactured in the UK by the respected Gainsborough Healthcare Group, the Gemini 2000 was introduced in 2019 to offer a future proofed approach to bathing. With its 2-metre long bathing space, it can support a wider range of adult and paediatric care needs and represents the largest platform bathing solution on the market today.
