Anchor adds 11 care homes bringing portfolio to 125 homes

Anchor has acquired the entire share capital of Halcyon Care Homes Topco, adding 11 purpose-built residential care homes to its portfolio.

The 11 homes are located in the East Midlands and the South of England – two of which are in development. This brings the total number of care homes operated by Anchor to 125.

Recent acquisitions include 24 care homes from LNT Group and five care homes from both Cavendish Healthcare Group and Hadrian Healthcare Group.

The deal is expected to complete in Autumn 2022, according to chief financial officer Sarah Jones (pictured).
