Apetito has extended its range for care homes, including additions to its gluten free selection. The new products, all available in both twin and multi portions, have been launched to complement apetito’s existing dishes.
Extensions to the gluten-free range include traditional Cottage Pie, Pork and Apple Casserole, Savoury Minced Beef and Shepherd’s Pie.
Newly developed dishes include a warming Bramley Apple & Blackberry Pie, Plum & Cherry Pie and Chocolate Éclairs which make a delicious accompaniment to afternoon tea and can help to maintain energy levels.
Apetito’s range of meals have been created to meet individual nutritional needs and taste preferences, taking into consideration factors including special dietary requirements such as gluten free, low salt or low fat, medical conditions such diabetes and cultural diversity. All dishes meet CQC standards – along with BDA Digest Guidelines and Food in Hospitals National Catering and Nutrition Specification for Food and Fluid Provision in Hospitals in Scotland – and are quick and convenient to prepare.
