Top tips for award-winning work wellbeing

Three care home providers have been named in the top ten companies for work wellbeing in the UK.

Recruiter Indeed’s Better Work Awards 2023 ranked Kingsley Healthcare as number one.

Its chief executive Daya Thayan told CHM that, as a family-run business, it has different values from many other care home groups, with a focus on compassion, kindness and transparency.  The aim is to create an environment for workers to thrive and to foster a culture to make things possible. This aims to promote both physical and mental health (pictured).

Thayan explained: “We wanted to make sure that every business has leaders that harness the best in others. This comes from investing in time, training and investing in a values system. Integrity is the cornerstone of our operation.”
