Vintage tea parties are just one idea being used by the Country Court Care group to celebrate care home open day, which takes place this year on Saturday 21 April.
The idea behind the day is to encourage local people to visit care homes in their community and to work together to develop better relationships. This important connection is something that all our homes nurture through acting as a community hub.
Planned celebrations in the Country Court Care Group also include a jumble sales, spring fairs, street parties and Queen’s birthday tea parties.
The full programme is available online.
Urging all care homes to get involved in the open day, Alykhan Kachra, Country Court Care managing director said.”Some people still have misconceptions about care homes so we are keen to dispel any myths and for people to come and have a look around, meet the staff and our residents.”
