Care Show to donate £1.50 per care delegate to Care Workers’ Charity

Event organisers Closer Still Media will donate £1.50 to the Care Workers’ Charity for every care provider who attends the Care Show, at the NEC Birmingham on October 12-13.

In addition, the team will donate an additional £1.50 for every care provider who attends a session within the People, Workforce & Wellbeing Theatre.

There will also be a Care Workers’ Charity Shop, where show attendees can buy “Choose our carers” t-shirts and pin badges.

The two-day programme of educational content at the event covers leadership, motivation, self-belief, recruitment, retention, personal and mental health.

New features of the event include a Quiet & Relax room, a Beer and Bubbles Bar, where attendees can receive a complimentary glass of bubbly, and a Gratitude Wall where people can express their gratitude in writing.

Care Home Management will also be attending the show, on Stand G91.

Mike Corbett, group event director, said: “We have decided to help and give back to the industry we are privileged to serve.”

Karolina Gerlich, chief executive officer, The Care Workers’ Charity, said: “The Care Workers’ Charity is delighted that the Care Show is so supportive of the sector… when carers need our help more than ever.”
