The Care Home Awards has teamed up with public relations firm PLMR to launch a weekly sector-wide initiative to say a massive thank you to carers.
The idea of #CareChampions is that for one hour every week at noon anyone working in care will share good news on social media.

“We hope this can become a heart-warming moment each week,” says Helen Warrilow, commercial director at Care Home Awards. “The good news can be a text post, photo or video on Twitter using the hashtag #CareChampions.”
She added: “This initiative will spread a positive image of social care throughout the UK by sharing how hard teams are working.”
The use of the hashtag will allow others to view all the good work happening across the sector.
The initiative will start on 24 November 2020.
