#ChampioningRegisteredManagers is latest Skills for Care campaign

Skills for Care is celebrating and supporting registered managers in its latest campaign.

The #ChampioningRegisteredManagers campaign launches on 4 March and runs throughout the month, shining a spotlight on the vital role registered managers play at the heart of care organisations. It will also highlight the wide range of support and resources that Skills for Care makes available to registered managers.

This includes peer support in the form of local networks.

Running across England, these networks provide a unique opportunity for registered managers to meet others and share challenges, successes, and learnings. There will be regular events and guest speakers providing new insights and skills.

Skills for Care also has a membership offer providing access to exclusive resources and discounts, as well as opportunities to take part in mentoring, as a mentor or mentee.

Additionally, the organisation’s The care exchange podcast is a great way to hear insights from registered managers on issues including managing teams, personal development and recruitment and retention.

The campaign will also promote Skills for Care’s regular webinars for registered managers. These are delivered live to a virtual audience with details published on the Skills for Care website for watching on demand.

Throughout the #ChampioningRegisteredManagers campaign, the organisation will explore key issues for registered managers. This will include changes to Care Quality Commission (CQC) assessment plus the importance of managing change and succession planning.

The campaign will be launching next Monday (4 March) with full details on the Skills for Care website.
