CQC new data collection portal going live from September

CQC has published details of the transition timetable to its new assessment framework, supported by a new provider portal.

By the end of August, a group of providers will pilot the new portal functionality, ahead of a phased introduction to all providers from September.  The new portal aims to support providers in data collection.

Providers in the south of England will be the first to use the new assessment framework from November, scheduled using factors such as the level of risk. The new framework will be rolled out regionally until March 2024.

Providers will be contacted to join the new portal and they should ensure that CQC has the correct contact details for their organisation. Guidance covering the changing regulatory structure is also available.
