Four Seasons Health Care supports Alzheimer’s Society

Four Seasons Health Care will be supporting writer and video biographer Philip Williams as his walk around the coast of Britain to raise money and awareness for Alzheimer’s Society enters its final stage.

Philip Williams, whose mother has Alzheimer’s and is a resident at Four Seasons’ Emberbrook Care Home, began his 5,000 mile walk in 2010. To date he has so far raised £55,000 for Alzheimer’s Society.

On Wednesday 3rd April, Philip will embark on the last leg of his journey by travelling from Inverness down the eastern coast of the UK. Four Seasons will be supporting Philip by donating money towards his accommodation as well as offering him food and drink for the day as he visits a number of their care homes during his walk.

As well as supporting Philip, Four Seasons Health Care recently signed up to the Dementia Pledge. This is an initiative that helps care providers to aspire to the highest standards of care through service benchmarking, development of cultural change and public demonstration of commitment to improvement.
