From tomorrow, Tuesday 9 February, Scottish care providers (private and third sector) can advertise their care vacancies on the myjobscotland for free, for three months. The jobs board now has a dedicated adult social care section.
In addition, organisations will receive help and advice with promoting their free care vacancies adverts. Visit mjs.jobs/caretocare to get started.
The promotion will support the launch, from Wednesday 10 February of phase two of the Scottish Government’s adult social care recruitment campaign, There’s More to Care Than Caring.
The campaign aims to promote the adult social care sector as a valued, meaningful and rewarding career destination. You can find more information about the campaign at CaretoCare.scot
A stakeholder toolkit, including promotional materials, is also available online.
- DHSC has launched a ‘Care for Others. Make a Difference.’ advertising recruitment campaign launched to highlight varied, flexible long-term social care career opportunities in England. A supporting Call to Care initiative also encourages individuals including those on furlough, NHS Returners and volunteers to take up short-term paid work in the adult social care sector.
