Hamberley benefits from luxury trend

The ongoing demand for luxury care environments has helped Hamberley Development sell two of its soon to be completed sites to investment firm Target Healthcare REIT.

The high-end developments at Cumnor Hill in Oxford (above) and Badgers Mount near Sevenoaks have a combined total of 130 beds and will be completed by the middle of 2019.

They include luxury en suite bedrooms, a cinema, bar area and health and beauty salon.

The deal will see Hamberley’s operating company Hamberley Care Homes lease back the homes over a 35-year period. There are existing developments in Dunstable and Glasgow.

“There is a growing demand for leading edge luxurious care environments and we are seeking more opportunities,” says Hamberley Development director Daniel Kay.
