Impact Healthcare completes sale and leaseback of £149m portfolio

Impact Healthcare REIT has bought 56 care homes with almost 2500 beds for £149 million. The properties, which were held through six corporate groups on behalf of two sellers, are let to healthcare providers Minster Group and Croftwood Group.

This is the first acquisition for Impact Healthcare after its IPO in March 2017.

Anthony Judge, real estate partner at Travers Smith, which advised Impact Healthcare, said: “The care home sector has been very active in the last year and we look forward to continuing to work on some of the most complex transactions in the sector.”
