Amberleigh House Care Home in Aintree, Liverpool, is benefiting from a £2m investment after being acquired by Armighorn Capital.
This is the latest acquisition for the West Midlands-based healthcare provider which currently operates five homes across the Midlands and West Yorkshire caring for around 350 residents.
The funding package has been provided by Frontier Development Capital and there could be further acquisitions in the city.
The Aintree care home has been renamed Abbey Wood Park Nursing Home and will soon be opened following a full refurbishment programme offering beds and services for up to 38 residents.
“Armighorn has a strong track record of reopening and transforming care homes requiring improvement,” says Armighorn Capital director Navjot Singh. “This £2m funding plus the initial £3m investment received in 2019 from Frontier Development Capital’s growth capital team, enables us to continue the delivery of our ambitious growth plans.”
