Supporting Adult Social Care Innovation (SASCI) is a new research project looking to encourage innovation in social care.
SASCI stakeholders including Care England and the Local Government Association will work with researchers from the London School of Economics to better understand where and how adult social care innovation can be supported through policy and investment.
Professor Martin Green OBE, Chief Executive of Care England, said: “There is an abundance of innovation in the sector. This project will help uncover the reasons as to why some projects work and others fall by the wayside. It will produce a set of tangible recommendations that will help plan and future proof adult social care”.
The project launch takes place on Monday 13 January at the LSE. Event registration is online.
