Care Homes can access some of My Learning Cloud’s eLearning courses for free to help them upskill their team and train new recruits.
Care homes can take advantage of the company’s Lite Learning Environment without having to pay a fee or sign a contract, with no obligation to buy.
Care organisations can select up to five eLearning courses from the extensive My Learning Cloud catalogue (with the exception of the Care Certificate) and use them to train as many staff as they like for 12 weeks or until the 30th June 2020, whichever comes first,
My Learning Cloud is also offering free 30 minute eLearning consultations with their in-house learning and development specialists to help train new staff quickly.
“At this difficult time we asked ourselves what we could do to help. We’re part of a sector with more than 1.5m carers focusing on supporting the most vulnerable people in society and felt it was our responsibility to put the people in the care industry first,” says chief cloud Steven Embleton.
He adds: “If we can provide a Skills for Care-endorsed system to quickly and effectively train carers with CPD-certified eLearning, without organisations having to worry about cost or long term contracts then it is only right that we make these as available as possible to any care organisation within the UK, whether they are our customers or not.’
There is good news for existing customers too who can claim a free Volunteer Portal to train volunteers on up to five eLearning courses for 12 weeks.
