The National Association of Care Catering (NACC) has launched a training academy, NACC national chair Neel Radia announced on the opening day of the NACC Training & Develop Forum 2018 on Thursday.
Designed for the care catering sector, the courses include catering as well as management skills training, for example, managing staff performance. Catering topics include: allergens, texture modification, fortification, dementia and dysphagia, chef skills, food safety, dining skills and front of house, and nutrition and hydration
The first courses from the academy take place on to be delivered as part of the NACC Training Academy take place at Edgbaston Cricket Ground, Birmingham, on Tuesday and Wednesday, 20-21 November 2018.
