National Care Group, providers of care and support services to vulnerable adults, has acquired Rotherham based Steps Residential Care (Steps).
Steps provide individualised opportunities for adults with learning disabilities and associated support needs. Operating over five locations in the Rotherham area, Steps offers specialist care and accommodation for up to 26 people.
The additional association between Steps and National Care Group’s existing Newfield View service in nearby Sheffield, will also increase their service provision in the region.
James Allen, chief executive officer for National Care Group said: “Steps has made a name for itself in Rotherham. The services and support it provides and, most importantly, its person-centred ethos, fit well with the National Care Group philosophy. Our first priority is to ensure a seamless transition for the individuals supported during the integration period which we are confident will be achieved working closely with the dedicated team at Steps.
“This strategic acquisition continues our drive to expand NCG’s footprint and highlights our growing ability to provide person-centred care throughout the UK.”
