Scottish care provider Meallmore has opened its design-led, state-of-the-art Greenan Manor home in Doonfoot, Ayr.
The 52-bedroom home utilises the latest in care home design with stylish communal lounges and dining rooms. There is also a cinema, a multi-purpose entertainment space plus a hair dressing and beauty salon.

Manager Amanda Harland has more than 30 years of care home nursing experience and said good design was crucial.
The company has created bright, airy spaces for residents, with spectacular views across Ayr Bay to the Isle of Arran.
“As we navigate through the pandemic, it is important to us that our residents feel independent. We want them to live as active and fulfilling lives as possible,” she said.
In a boost to the local economy the home is providing 60 full-time equivalent jobs and is recruiting for nurses.
