New hotel and care home development planned in Kent

A new hotel and care home development in Kent is seeking investors through specialist business property adviser, Christie & Co.

The proposed scheme at Syndale Park is located on the outskirts of tFaversham on the main A2 London Road.

Syndale Park currently houses Judd’s Folly Hotel and a number of other buildings and businesses. The proposed demolition of these would make way for two sites that would provide a 100 bed hotel with leisure and conference facilities, along with a 60 bedroom residential care home and 60 close care apartments.

Andrew Moore of Christie & Co’s Maidstone office comments: “The availability of sites such as this for new-build hotels and care homes is rare, particularly in Kent and the South East.

“Faversham is an ideal location for these amenities due to its excellent transport links and its desirability as both a residential and tourist destination.

“This therefore provides an excellent opportunity for either a developer or operator to cater for the demand for care facilities in the region, as well as catering for new and regular visitors to the area.”
