This week is Dementia Action Week

Monday 20 May marks the start of Dementia Action Week 2019, and an opportunity to raise awareness and open up conversations about dementia.

To mark the week, The Alzheimer’s Society is encouraging conversations that boost understanding of the condition. Ways to do this could include:

  • Put up information stands
  • Take part in a school assembly
  • Hold an open day
  • Encourage communications through dementia activities
  • Hold an open day
  • Become a Dementia champion. Visit the Dementia Friends website for more information.
