One in five over-55s are worried about the vulnerability of care homes after COVID, research from equity release adviser Key shows.
In addition, 14 per cent are reconsidering their care funding plans in response to COVID-19, the survey of 1,009 UK adults aged 55-plus between April 6–92021 reveals
Around the country, over-55s in Yorkshire & The Humber are the most concerned about their future care options after seeing the impact of COVID-19 followed by those in Northern Ireland and Wales while over-55s are least concerned in the North East and the East of England.
