Speed up your overseas recruitment with a one-stop hiring solution

Care homes want to fast-track their UK Sponsor Licence application and select the candidates they wish to employ more easily.

One company helping them to achieve this is Overseas Healthcare Recruitment who with its team of lawyers can process the UK Sponsorship Licence within two weeks. Certificates of Sponsorship can then be issued within one day, meaning a candidate can be ready to fly within four weeks.

“We are looking at a total of six weeks from start to finish,” says Overseas Healthcare Recruitment director Alan Stables. “All our candidates have some form of qualification and a minimum of two years’ experience. You can check out their CV, video and references too. We recruit mainly from Sri Lanka and the Philippines and ensure candidates have a working knowledge of English, no criminal record and
are compassionate people eager to work.”

The company is currently offering UK care homes a 50% introductory offer with a promise of three, free candidate replacements if the person they recruit initially is dismissed or leaves within one year.

“It is well known that overseas staff offer employers high retention rates. Having settled into a new country, especially with their family, their permission to work in the UK is granted according to the Certificate of Sponsorship,” said Stables.

“Any change of employer would mean reapplying. In addition, if their spouse is working and their children have just settled into their new environment, a change of location not only becomes more difficult but undesirable.”

Stables describes the service as a one stop overseas recruitment solution which leaves care home owners and managers free to focus on caring for residents and running their business.
