The Close Care Home has partnered with leading services business for the elderly care home sector, SP&P, to boost its dementia care strategy.
The provider currently has four Good CQC ratings and an Outstanding and is determined to achieve Outstanding across its portfolio.
“My team and I at The Close Care Home are committed to delivering the highest standards of care and this hard work has been validated by the CQC,” says The Close Care Home managing director Sanjay Dhrona.
Earlier this year the company invested in SP&P’s Dementia Care Mapping service to understand the strengths and weaknesses in its dementia care provision.
“Although the results that came back where very good, we are determined to be Outstanding across the board. So we have asked SP&P to help us keep driving improvements with a two year dementia care strategy development programme.”
Founder of SP&P, Simon Parker, says: “As part of the service we offer, we cross-reference the results of the Dementia Care Map against the KLOEs to ensure that there is a clear journey to Outstanding. The services we will provide to the Close Care Home team will include training, coaching and accountability to ensure the success of the project.”
