Leading commercial and residential vinyl flooring manufacturer Polyflor has unveiled its Polysafe QuickLay PUR Collection.
This loose lay safety flooring is designed for adhesive-free installation and is the perfect solution for busy commercial environments such as care homes where a quick turnaround and sustainable slip resistance is a priority.
Polysafe Quicklay features a contemporary design in a tonal colour bank of 12 shades with a matt surface finish, providing a decoration suitable for dementia friendly environments. The full collection is supported by the University of Stirling’s Dementia Services Development Centre accreditation.
Polyflor’s UK and international marketing director, Tom Rollo, says the company wanted to create a loose lay flooring product that would save installation time, eliminate the need for adhesives and make future replacement easier while still providing the sustainable slip resistance required from a safety floor.
“The Polysafe QuickLay collection fulfils these requirements and responds to the market demands for plain and tonal decoration products,” he says. “It is suitable for specification within dementia friendly environments.’
He adds that this product is a sustainable flooring choice because it is 100% recyclable. It also promotes excellent indoor air quality and low VOC emissions, which leaves a healthy care home flooring environment that can be used immediately.
