Social Care Wales shows its colours as Pride month begins

Social Care Wales is urging care home providers to support Pride month 2023 and to show commitment to equality, diversity and inclusivity.

Pride month, which runs until July 1, aims to raise awareness about LGBTQ+ rights and the importance of supporting Pride.

To support the effort, Social Care Wales Social Care Wales has changed its logo for the month, and will raise awareness of LGBTQ+ care workers and residents to eliminate discrimination, homophobia and transphobia.

Sue Evans, Social Care Wales chief executive, said: “We want to show potential LGBTQ+ job applicants that they can feel ‘safe’ and be themselves when working with us.”
