Martha Griffin’s soft furnishings have been the choice of interior designers for almost 30 years with her curtains, cushions and bed throws appearing in hotels, care homes and even the houses of famous footballers.
Earlier this year she made the decision to launch her own company MK Rose Interiors and sell her top-quality products direct to care homes and save providers money.
The company is based in Cheshire, but she travels the length and breadth of the UK measuring, manufacturing and fitting soft furnishings for care homes that have usually booked a revamp through an interior designer.
“I love working with interior designers and will continue to do so, but I know care homes must work to a budget when buying soft furnishings and I want to get my range into more providers. Allowing them a direct service makes sense,” says Griffin.
She adds: “A freshening up of soft furnishings that can become worn can boost residents’ well-being and make a room look new without the need for a complete redecoration.”
