Care UK manager receives Queen’s Nurse award

Tracy Norbury, home manager at Care UK home Hollins Park has received the prestigious The Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother Award for Outstanding Service.

The Macclesfield home manager has worked for Care UK since she was 16 years old, as a domestic, She became home manager in 2017. Under her management, in 2019, Hollins Park became the first home in Cheshire to gain four ‘Outstanding’ KLOEs from the CQC.

Care UK head of Nursing, Care and Dementia Suzanne Mumford QN, said Tracy shows continued passion and dedication to improving nursing practice at Hollins Park. As well as receiving the ‘Queen’s Nurse’ award, oither accolades for the home include platinum status, as awarded by the Gold Standards Framework for End-of-Life Care and Home of the Year at Care UK’s internal awards in 2018. Norbury currently holds ‘Home Manager of the Year’ from the National Dementia Care Awards 2023.
