Scotland launches wellbeing hub for health and care staff

NHS Scotland has launched a digital wellbeing hub to enable NHS and social care staff, volunteers and families to access self-care and wellbeing resources designed to aid resilience during COVID-19).

The National Wellbeing Hub  is the first of its kind in the UK and it aims to help users to recognise their own ‘warning signs’. In total, around 1000 hours of coaching for staff will be available for a 12-week period, as part of a wider range of resources. In addition to the wellbeing hub, staff can access coaching and have the opportunity to take part in a new Workforce Wellbeing Champion Network.

This brings together NHS boards, Health and Social Care Partnerships, local authorities and Scottish Social Services Council to share best practice in the psychological wellbeing of health and social care staff across Scotland.

Comprehensive information about services and resources available at national and local level within NHS Boards, Health and Social Care Partnerships (HSCPs) and local authorities will also be available via the hub.
