Share a letter if you share a name

A new initiative  aims to partner nursery and primary school children with care home residents of the same name in what hopes to be the nation’s biggest pen pal scheme.

The initiative, dubbed ‘Letters from a namesake’, aims to allow different generations to share experiences and life stories. Launched by name tags and labels supplier My Nametags, the scheme will help develop children’s letter writing skills, while tackling loneliness among care home residents.
