Social care needs you!

Care England has produced a poster to encourage care staff to return to work.

Echoing the message of the recent NHS recruitment campaign, Care England says: ‘Social care needs you too’.
Like the NHS campaign, NHS England is calling on retired staff with experience in the adult social care sector to engage in this national effort to keep social care operational, followed by those with backgrounds in catering, hospitality or travel.

In addition, others are encouraged to utilise ‘Emergency Volunteering Leave’.

Many providers have already reported rising levels of Covid-19 related absences, which are exacerbating existing vacancy rates.
Chief executive Professor Martin Green says: “Our message is that social care is still open for business – social care needs your help.”
