Christians in Care network looks to boost membership in care homes

A new Christian network, Christians in Care, aims to offer regular online support to Christians working across the care sector, through prayer, resourcing and support.

Christians in Care, which is launched by elderly care charity Pilgrims’ Friend Society, will begin with online communities, such as a WhatsApp group and regular online prayer meetings, with the aim to expand to in-person regional meetups.

The network is the brainchild of elderly care charity Pilgrims’ Friend Society. Lead Coordinator Lucy Honeysett said: “We hope that Christians in Care creates a network of Christian carers who can encourage and inspire one another in their faith and to flourish in their roles.”
