The 2022 Care Home Awards 2022 winners are here!

The winners of the 2022 Care Home Awards have been announced, with big wins from Care UK, Signature Senior Lifestyle and Stow Healthcare Group.

At a glittering awards ceremony in London, hundreds of entrants, sponsors and guests, met with the very best care providers in operation today.

Key awards were given to the following providers:

  • Outstanding Larger Group Care Provider (over 75 homes): Care UK
  • Outstanding Mid-size Group Care Provider (26-75 homes): Signature Senior Lifestyle
  • Outstanding Smaller Group Care Provider (up to 25 homes): Stow Healthcare Group
  • Outstanding Independent Care Provider: Chelsea Court Place, Loveday & Co (pictured)
  • Outstanding Care Provider in a Group: Cherrytree, Kara Healthcare
  • Best New Care Home: Priestly Fields, Handsale Care Homes

There were also awards in specialist categories such as communication, wellbeing, nutrition, food and dining and indoor/outdoor communal spaces.

Commenting, Care Home Awards Managing Director Matthew Davies said: “The overall calibre of entries for 2022 was higher than ever.”

The awards presentation event took place at the Royal Garden Hotel in London on July 1. New sponsors for 2022 include: Gold Care Homes; Sage; Mitre Linen and Five on a Bike, which joined existing sponsors including: Autumna; Avery; Bidfood; The Care Show; The Outstanding Society and the Residential & Home Care Show.

Care Home Management is again delighted to be the media partner of the awards and editor Ailsa Colquhoun was one of the judges.

Planning for the 2023 Awards has already started with the Call for Entries expected to kick off on November 1. The 2023 Awards lunch and ceremony is currently scheduled for June 30, 2023.
