The Alzheimer’s Dementia & Care Show – a date for your diary

Now in its 10th year, The Alzheimer’s Dementia & Care Show is the UK’s leading event for care providers, healthcare professionals, families and carers.

It takes place at the Business Design Centre in London 3-4 March 2023.

This is an unmissable event for those wanting to learn from leading experts, find practical advice and support, resources, help and information, develop a better understanding of dementia and further their professional skills.

The Alzheimer’s Dementia & Care Show features a fully accredited CPD conference programme with talks from leading experts, family carers and people living with dementia. Alongside them will be professional advice clinics, dementia and care exhibitors and unique individual training opportunities.

The doors open at 9.30am each day and close at 5.00pm on Friday and 4.00pm on Saturday. One-day tickets are from £18.00 online, £23 on the door.

NEW for 2023:

Full Dementia Interpreters Course – Training2Care: Free taster sessions are offered to visitors who will have their ability to speak, see, hear and move impaired to begin to recognise the many forms communication may take for a person living with dementia. Only at this event are Training2Care offering individuals the full 1-hour workshop to allow you to experience the complete experiential practical session.

Full Virtual Dementia Tour & Training Experience – Training2Care: As well as free taster sessions, this is the only event where visitors can book the complete training as an individual – an eight minute immersive experience followed by 75 minute de-brief. This is a ‘must do’ experience for anyone involved in caring for people with dementia.

Dementia and Care Matters Theatre: The main theatre will host keynote speakers covering a range of topics as well as chaired daily Question Time panel sessions.

Talks Hub: A unique platform for family carers to give a personal perspective into caring for a loved one with dementia as well as tips and advice. There will also be a range of practical talks covering daily life with dementia from professionals and exhibitors.

CPD Accreditation: All of the speaker sessions are fully CPD Accredited, and certificates will be available to professional attendees.

Admiral Nurses & Alzheimer’s Society Advice Clinics: Free 25 minute 1-2-1 appointments.
