Welford Healthcare has bought the three-home Eastleigh Care Group for an undisclosed sum.
The group of three care homes in Devon and Somerset comprises East Street Residential Home (pictured), Raleigh Mead Nursing Home, and Minehead Nursing and Residential Home in Somerset.
The properties boast CQC ratings ranging from ‘Good’ to ‘Outstanding’, and benefit from favourable underlying demographics.
The portfolio was previously owned by Garry Wilson who, after 30 years, has decided to retire from the sector. Welford Healthcare is a 10-home business with homes across the UK. The deal was supported by real estate investment trust, Impact Healthcare REIT.
Peter Madden, partner at Welford Healthcare, said: “We continue to implement our acquisition strategy and we look forward to starting work with the teams and resident communities.”
