What does a good death look like?

This year, Dying Matters Week will ask a simple question, What can you do? with a clear focus on actions that people in the community (GPs, schools, etc) can take to improve the process for people and their carers at the end of life.

To help people understand what end of life care can look like, the Leicestershire hospice LOROS has created a video, The End, to show the difference between a good and bad death.

Jo Kavanagh, director of care services at LOROS Hospice said: “We want to send out a memorable message about end of life care and demonstrate the difference the hospice can make to patients and families.’’

Further resources to support Dying Matters Week, which starts today (Monday 14 May) are available to download.
