YPO launches nationwide public sector apprenticeship framework

Public sector buying organisation YPO has launched an apprenticeship framework to support care workers to access apprenticeship training from compliant local and national suppliers.

The framework – the first and only one of its kind in the UK – has been developed by YPO to help all public sector organisations make better use of Apprenticeship Levy funds.

Launching ahead of the government adult social care recruitment campaign in autumn, the framework offers access to more than 78 apprenticeship providers across a wide range of sectors. This aims to support organisations with any of the estimated 90,000 unfilled social care vacancies nationwide.
